CHP KAUNAS – LITHUANIA

The principal UAB Kauno kogeneracine jegaine assigned Standardkessel Baumgarte with the delivery of the furnace and the grate for the CHP Kaunas plant in Lithuania. The highly efficient waste incineration plant will gain electricity and heat from the recycling of communal waste, and show a waste throughput of 270,000 t/a and a steam capacity of 114 t/h. From May 2020 it will be fed into the public network of the city of Kaunas.

Standardkessel Baumgarte GmbH is trusting in the expertise and experience of Mokesa AG for the refractory lining of the two plants. The complete waste-fired boilers will be lined with the Mokesys^® tube wall protection systems. In the whole of the first pass, including the main fire zone, primarily the rear-ventilated Mokesys^® Air will be used.
