DUNDEE & ANGUS RWT FACILITY – SCOTLAND

MVV Environment Baldovie Ltd., a subsidiary of the Mannheim energy company MVV, set up an energy-from-waste plant at the Dundee site in Scotland. Standardkessel Baumgarte GmbH acts as a general contractor and is responsible for turnkey delivery, set up and commissioning of the whole power station. The new plant, with an annual fuel throughput of 110,000 t/a will be set up next to an existing fluidised bed furnace and should replace this in the long term. The electricity generated will be fed into the public network, and a neighbouring industrial company will be supplied with steam. Mokesa AG supplied the complete refractory lining.
