Another new customer for Mokesa in Italy

With the waste incineration plant in Bolzano, we have gained another customer in Italy.

The new waste incineration plant in Bolzano is the most important disposal facility in South Tyrol, having been commissioned in July 2013. It has replaced the old plant set up in 1988, which had, till date, already supplied innumerable families, companies and public institutions with district heating. Since 2014, the district heating network has been further expanded and guarantees optimal utilisation of the plant’s waste.

In November 2015, upon the request of the plant operator, Mokesa assumed charge of – and successfully completed – the revision of the refractory lining. This reinforces the trend towards the Mokesys^® system in Italy, which has prevailed for several years now. Mokesa AG has successfully increased its market share in Italy in recent years. Word of the robust results obtained in the A2A Ambiente and Hera Ambiente plants quickly got about, popularising us in the Italian market. Including Bolzano, the Mokesys^® system has now been installed in 31 boiler lines in Italy. This has made Italy one of the most important markets for our company in recent years.
