The patented and proven Mokesys^® Air 2E system was installed in the main furnace of the waste cogeneration plant in Würzburg at approximately 3 metres above the grate belt. The special design of the rear-ventilated Mokesys^® tile system is the only technology suitable for installation in this area.

Thanks to a permanent flow of air behind the tiles, both the boiler pipes and the flexible stud fixings are protected against corrosive flue gases. The immense benefits offered by this design were previously unheard of. The customer now has reliable protection against corrosion while benefiting from a similar heat transfer as in back-cast systems. Expensive demolition works and time-consuming sand-blasting with massive emissions are now completely eliminated. This means reduced costs and shorter construction times.
