Waste-to-Energy Plant Ulm-Donautal

Our rear-ventilated Mokesys^® tile system Air 2E has been in operation successfully in various European waste-to-energy plants since 2009 without a single tile having to be replaced.

The operator of the Waste-to-Energy Plant in Ulm-Donautal has decided to completely equip boiler 2 with the very stable Mokesys^® refractory tiling system.

The Mokesa AG team completely retrofitted the refractory lining of the boiler in only 14 shifts. For this project, the combination of Mokesys^® Air 2E and Mokesys^® back-filled was used as it has proven itself in other locations. The combustion chamber, which had already been equipped with the Mokesys^® system, was renovated and the upper part of the first pass was installed with Mokesys^® Air 2E.

We were very pleased that the customer asked us to install the freely combinable Mokesys^® quality. This way, the complete refractory protection in the WtE plant Ulm-Donautal was installed by one source and perfectly adjusted to the requirements of the boiler.
